Granola
-Brown rice syrup Heat up the oven to 350. Chop up mixed nuts and combine with the grains. Use a non-stick baking pan and add your dry ingredients. Add a mix of brown rice syrup and natural maple syrup, enough to cover your dried ingredients in the baking pan. Place the baking pan in the oven. Bake the granola for 15 minutes then take it out and stir. Keep doing this until the granola in dark brown. Next add your dried fruits to the mix, make sure you wait to add the dried fruits or they will melt. Now keep the granola out to cool. Keep an eye on the cooling process and once the granola begins to harden start breaking it up into bite size pieces. Pack your homemade granola into a snacky pack and enjoy your natural treat on your next parkday adventure. |
